Today’s Hug- 11th June 2020

I thought I’d dedicate today’s hug is to nature reserves, wetlands and any where else you can see waterfowl.
When full lockdown was on I missed going walking around Ulley reservoir. One of the highlights of my visit there was spotting the grebes. Me and my son use to watch the grebes duck under the water and then guess where they would come up. I don’t think we ever got it right, it would always turn out to be further than we thought. Our current situation is very similar at the moment: we see what’s going on on the surface, but we can only guess where things are going and what the outcome will be. I have faith that this situation will get better and normality will resume, until then enjoy watching the grebes.
